              Sri Boyakonda Gangamma temple is located at Bandlapai village in Chowdepalli Mandal in Chittore District of Andhra Pradesh country. History: According to the history of this temple about  centuries in the past right here are hen searching tribals( Boyas and Yelikas) lived within the forest area around hillock.They stood up and resented the repressive and automated rule of Nawabs.They retaliated against the Muslim infantrymen and chased them.Then Golkonda Nawab rushed additional troops to crush the rebel.Then Boya tribals could not face up to the onslaught of the troops and field into the woodland and prostrated close to the hillock and prayed Goddess Jagajjanani to shop them.The spirit of goddess Shakthi descended from the hillock and shielded the tribes and overwhelmed the Nawabs army.To make goddess cool the Trible people gave Bali to the goddess, then Goddess come to be santharoopa(non violent shape).Then Goddess shaped a Pushkarini(Tank)right here with here powers.Thus Devotees call's goddess as Gangamma Talli.Goddess Gangamma is the incarnation of Shakthi.Local human beings accept as true with that the water in Pushkarini is more effective, and that they sprinkle the water of their crop fields as holy water which makes to produce greater crop.To Read More Click Here.
